Patrick J. Gallagher
Pat was born and raised in St. Paul. He received a B.A. in Economics from Creighton University and graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1974. Pat has helped many individuals and families determine how best to protect and pass on their assets. He has helped many business owners transfer control of their business to family members either during lifetime or as part of an estate plan to take effect at death. He has also represented numerous clients in transactional real estate and small business matters.
Pat has been honored in a survey by Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine as one of the top attorneys in Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and three of its sections: the Probate and Trust Law Section, the Real Estate Section and the Elder Law Section. He is also a member of the 10th Judicial District and Ramsey County Bar Associations, and served on the Ramsey County Bar Association’s Senior Issues Section. Pat has spoken at numerous seminars on topics related to his practice, and has been a contributing author of the Elder Law Handbook published by Minnesota Continuing Legal Education.

Robert J. Lawton, Jr.
Rob was born and raised in St. Paul. He graduated with honors from the University of Saint Thomas, where he received a B.A. in Economics with an English Minor. He graduated with honors from Hamline University School of Law in 2004. While in law school, he served as an Associate and Editor for the Hamline Law Review, taught a course in legal research to first-year students as a Teaching Assistant, won a CALI award in Native American Law, and volunteered at several public interest organizations through the Minnesota Justice Foundation.
Rob was admitted to practice law in Minnesota in 2004 and in Wisconsin in 2007. He has worked on estate plans for Minnesota and Wisconsin residents, and has experience advising owners of small businesses.
Rob is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, its Probate and Trust Law and Elder Law Sections, the Ramsey County Bar Association, the Bar Association for the 10th Judicial District of Minnesota, and the Wisconsin State Bar Association. Rob currently volunteers for the Minnesota Wills for Heroes program, which provides free estate planning services to first responders with limited assets.
